Jin Keojin is a registered architect at New York State (AIA) and an assistant professor at Pusan National University Department of Architecture. He studied architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Harvard University and worked as an architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in New York. He is at present conducting various research and architectural design projects. He has been involved in artistic activities that focus on the interaction between the environment and urban spaces and the value of architecture to be derived from such thinking. His works have been exhibited at Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, Harvard Radcliffe Yard, Chicago Architecture Center, and Harvard Graduate School of Design. His research interests encompass investigating alternative typologies for Korean collective housing using composite wood and delving into the fundamental principles of building materials to promote environmentally friendly architectural technologies.
