Mutu Tantrige Osada Vishvajith Peiris earned his BSc. Hons. I earned a degree in urban planning from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2011 and an MSc in environmental management from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2016. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Urban Planning and Design, The University of Hong Kong, specializing in urban flood resilience of cities. Mr. Peiris has over ten years of experience in the private and public sectors and academia. His research interests include urban resilience assessment, disaster management, urbanization policy, and public space management in cities.
